Race day in Dargaville

Kaipara people flocked to the races on Friday as the Dargaville Racing Club held its November meeting. The highlight of the nine-race programme was the Dargaville Cup won by Classic Rock. Racing club secretary Basil Smith says the rain stayed away during the races. Although attendance was slightly down on last year, on-track turnover was up by 20%. The club's next meeting will be in April 2015.
