Singers and musicians will again have the opportunity to show off their talents at the Paparoa A & P Show talent quest on February 6.
Introduced last year, the event adds another layer of entertainment to horse events, cattle competitions, shearing, fair ground rides, western riding, wood chopping, and indoor competitions like preserving, produce and crafts.
“It is amazing to see the range of talent we have in Northland,” says talent quest co-ordinator Stella Clyde.
The contest will be judged in three sections — 11 years and under, 12 to 15 years inclusive, and 16 years and over. There will be prizes for the winners and place-getters.
To enter the talent quest, contact Maura Flower to register on 09-431 6640.
Entry is $2 for school-age performers, and $5 for adults.
