A waste water system with a difference
|
A household waste water system with a difference is now available in Northland.
“Natural Flow Systems sells and markets waste water systems featuring the Wormorator,” says Opua-based, David Vincent, of Natural Flow Northland.
“The systems are applicable to new homes or for upgrading ailing setups. The underlying technical basis is 300 million year old technology — worms.
“The main concepts are to separate the black water, or toilet and kitchen waste from the grey water from the laundry, tub, or shower, and treat them separately. “The design allows the use of conventional home appliances such as kitchen disposal units.
“Natural Flow Northland are the agent of Natural Flow Systems Ltd, a national company based in Maungaturoto, where there are five full-time manufacturing, accounting and warehousing staff,” Mr Vincent added.
“There are also agents in the Auckland region, Waikato/Coromandel, Central North Island through to Wellington and in the South Island.
“Agents are responsible for sales and installations into their area. My area runs from Wellsford North to Cape Reinga.
“We currently have four full-time field staff, which is expected to expand by the end of the year to six. We own our trucks and diggers and have a mobile office which lets me keep up with administration whilst always being on site assisting with digging holes and placing tanks.”
“Since moving to Opua, we have established NaturalFlow Northland and work with the original design engineer plus a local plumber and drainlayer.
Customers receive first class attention and quotes and can expect us to assist with council, design and installation, with no surprises other than pleasant ones and an after sales service second to none.
“A typical installation takes 30-40 hours of work, or two people, two to three days.
“We have been operating for two-and-a-half years in the North, with the Natural Flow System designed and built for local conditions for the past decade.”
