The Westpac Northland Business Excellence Awards have attracted ten entries from the Kaipara, according to the Kaipara District Council’s business facilitator, Chris Donahoe.
“This is good to see and the awards registrations closed this week,” he said.
“We have had a special workshop to help these businesses prepare their submissions, and some were a little concerned at the amount of preparation that is required.
“We had Terry Sage from Business Coaching New Zealand and Tony Collins, the CEO of the Northland Chamber of Commerce along to speak and the businesses concerned heard that the entry requirements actually embrace the benefits of the awards, as it is all about good practise and profiling your business among your peers. It’s all about improving your game.”
The awards will be presented at a gala dinner and ‘after match party’ in Whangarei in October.
