Kaipara Grey Power Vision of The Owl
Ken Foster entertaining at Grey Power
Grey Power’s popular winter social and luncheon, which was well supported, was held recently. Initiated by a testing Question & Answer Session cleverly devised by chairperson June Klenner, the social ended with a Country and Western singalong ably compered by local identity Ken Foster, with assistance from Grey Power Kaipara secretary, Ken Cashin. Lucky raffle winners were Ruth Oliver, Alba Evans and Maureen Lancaster.
Grey Power’s next general meeting will be held on 20 August 2010 at the local Wesley Methodist Church Hall where guest speakers will be Marilyn & Wes Wordsworth with highlights of their recent overseas trip. Members, friends and the general public are all welcome.

Tax Change Seminars
The IRD will be holding a free seminar in Dargaville to update the local business community and help them prepare for the Budget 2010 tax changes, particularly for the 15% GST increase, the new property depreciation rules and PAYE rates going down.
The seminar will be held from 2.00pm to 4.00pm at the Dargaville Club, Victoria St, Dargaville, on Thursday, September the 9th.
