The next Mangawhai Central workshop date has been set, and organisers are encouraging the community to actively participate in the project.
The sale of the 128 hectare Molesworth Drive property to Auckland-based company Viranda Holdings Ltd was settled in March this year, and the developers met with the community earlier this year in April and June.
A Mangawhai Central spokesperson said project planners and the management team enjoyed meeting around 150 interested community members.
“Mangawhai Central is committed to regular workshops and other initiatives to ensure everyone can actively participate in this significant, community-led project. The project planners and management team enjoyed catching up with individuals who took the time to call in and discuss the early-stage concepts on the table.
“We are pleased to advise a second opportunity to attend a workshop where this informative content can be shared and discussed.
“It is our goal to capture as much feedback as possible. Every single comment provides valuable insight for the industry experts involved, and we thank you for taking the chance to be a part of this exciting project.”
The next workshop will take place on Saturday, July 14 from 2.30–5.30pm at the Mangawhai Library Hall, 45 Moir Street, Mangawhai.
