Kaipara gets active

Making the most of the summer weather (before the rains swept in) has been easy with a number of sporting activities on offer. We take a look what our community has been up to in the last few weeks:
Eleven people from the Dargaville trampers club recently walked the
Kepler track, in the Fiordland region. They are pictured here on
the trek with Lake Te Anau in the background

This year more than 540 competitors took part in either the
                                                4.5km or 8.5km loop course

Round three of the Northland MX champs was held at Maungaturoto motocross     track recently. “As a club we encourage people to come down and get involved,” said club president Phillip Shepherd
